If I had been asked about canyoning one month ago I wouldn’t have known what to say.
I knew it involved clambering over rocks and paddling through water, but beyond that I hadn’t a clue. So after gaining employment with Abel Tasman Canyons as the Office Manager I realised that not only would I have to do my homework, but that I would have to actually go on a NZ canyoning adventure myself.
We’re so excited to be judged by the most important critic of all – the traveler. They decided that we are the Canyoning Category Winner of 2016! Super proud of the team. Ka Pai everyone!

We were well ahead of the pack to get our External Safety Audit done one year before it became legislation. It is a rigorous process to go through which forces you to critically look at all the steps taken to ensure the safety of our participants and staff. We passed with flying colours!
