“Canyoning In The Abel Tasman Was The Best Experience Of My Life”

By Articles by you, Media

This amazing woman, Lee came canyoning with us and wrote about it on her blog page befreewithlee.com. She states “Canyoning in the Abel Tasman National Park was one of the best experiences of my life. I really hope you get the chance to experience this epic trip while travelling through the Nelson region, as it is such a wonderful, soul strengthening activity!” Her journey is an inspiration to us as she writes about her own experience suffering with mental health issues.

She says she felt after her canyoning adventure “(I felt) alive, exhilarated, empowered and like I really could do anything. I also felt like I wanted to be a canyon guide afterwards lol. It was such a magical experience being able to push my limits”.

We are so proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone, exploring something completely new and loving it!!

Well done Lee!!

We were honoured enough to enjoy the evening alongside some other entrants who are operators that also provide just as exciting adventures within the Abel Tasman National Park: Abel Tasman Sailing Adventurers, R&R Kayaks and Wilsons Abel Tasman.
