As many of you may have already heard Abel Tasman Canyons won the Nelson Supreme Business Award at the 2017 NPI Chamber of Commerce Business Awards!! What an honour to have our business recognised by the judges in this way. Thank you to the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce for hosting a fantastic show and organising these awards.

“To say we were absolutely stunned is an understatement!”
Somewhere between the main course and dessert we found ourselves numbly walking to the stage, scrambling for the unprepared speech we thought we wouldn’t need. Fast forward a week and we are still walking around with ridiculous grins on our faces! Yeeeeeah Buddy!!!
Firstly, we want to give a massive shout out to Lee Den Haan who has been with us from the very beginning. We are humbled by his incredible skills, hard work and enthusiasm throughout the years. We only wish he could have been standing there on that stage with us. Churr bro!!
We also want to give a huge thank you to Rosie Hadfield, Dave Moloney, Don Grant, and Jeff Van Oostrom for all your input and help with the application process. To all our guides and office staff throughout the years, we couldn’t have done it without you all! We are so grateful for all of your hard work and always going above and beyond to give our customers an epic adventure!
For the prize we were lucky enough to be handed over the keys to a Brand New, Red Honda CRV Sport 2018 (back to the future!) kindly made available by Bowater Honda in Nelson, which we took out for a spin with the team for ‘fish n chups’ over Facebook Live. With a finger break, cameras showing every angle, keyless locks, sun roof and buttons for Africa, we cannot get too used to this seven seater luxury as it comes with an expiry date of three months. If you see us cruising the streets of Motueka just know we are getting in as many laps as possible before our time is up!
Once again we cannot express how grateful and thankful we are to everyone who has helped, guided, supported and educated us throughout the years. There are too many to name, but we’ll let you all know in person!
And finally we cannot forget to thank all of our amazing customers for without you all, we would not be here. It is a pleasure and an honour to guide you through one of the most beautiful places in the world (well we think so!).
