At the start of this year Abel Tasman Canyons and the New Zealand Canyoning School affiliated with ICOpro (International Canyoning Organization for Professionals) as a Canyoneer Training Center. This means that alongside our own training courses we can now provide training for the ICTC Canyoneer 1-2-3 ICOpro qualification. This qualification is internationally recognised and we are the first ICOpro centre now established in New Zealand.
Our first 8 day training course begins on the 6th of April 2018 with Adrien Paris and Toine Houtenbos as the examiners. There has been great interest in this course seeing it booked out immediately. We’ll be scheduling more of these courses in the future so watch this space.
