Abel Tasman Canyons is looking for staff for the 2018-2019 canyoning season.

We have the following positions starting in October and November:

  • ICOpro Centre Manager
  • Full time Office Staff
  • Assistant Canyoning Guide
  • Level 1 Canyoning Guide
  • Level 2 Canyoning Guide

Requirements:

To be considered for the ICOpro Centre Manager position, you must be able to tick most of these boxes:

–provide cover letter, CV and relevant logbooks (rock, water, ropes)–

  • (MUST) ICOpro qualified, at least Instructor Level 1 (Trainer preferred)
  • Management experience
  • Logistics experience
  • Clean NZ drivers license with P-endorsement
  • Marketing experience
  • Photography and editing experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills

Before applying for a Guiding job you must be able to tick most of these boxes:

–provide cover letter, CV and relevant logbooks (rock, water, ropes)–

  • Plenty of personal and professional canyoning experience
  • Preferably NZOIA Canyon 1 qualified (or overseas equivalent) or strong commitment to get qualified
  • Current Outdoor First Aid certificate, or higher
  • Clean NZ drivers license (P-endorsement is a BIG bonus)
  • Great communication skills
  • Good sense of humor
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Strong work ethics
